ONE-OF-A-KIND CONDO

This St. Louis condominium includes a granite water wall and fountain providing a naturally calming effect – and curved and contemporary forms hug visiting guests. An intimate tea-room (Sukiya) and an anteroom (midsuya) make this a one-of-a-kind retreat for the homeowner’s unique lifestyle. Using traditional beliefs and customs, we reinterpreted this contemporary space and created an experience of tranquil sanctuary for this well-traveled, philanthropic couple.
